Managing Occupational Risks: An Integrated Approach to Workplace Safety Given the specific nature of our operations, which involve working with electrical appliances and heavy objects, we have implemented a comprehensive safety program. This program includes ongoing on-site training sessions to explain key safety precautions to employees, as well as regular certification assessments conducted by each local manager and a specially appointed inspection committee. Additionally, we periodically survey our clients—both in private households and organizations—to evaluate whether our field technicians adhere to safety protocols. Specifically, we verify whether they disconnect the device from the power supply before disassembling it, and whether they use appropriate footwear, uniforms, and gloves. Furthermore, we require our field technicians to carry antiseptic agents and first-aid dressings in their uniform pockets at all times. Primary Health Risks to Employees: Electric shock (resulting from the combination of high voltage and moisture). Risk of infection from scratches and cuts. Musculoskeletal injuries, including strains and hernias, resulting from lifting heavy equipment. The measures implemented to mitigate each of these risks are outlined below. 1. Electrical Safety We address this risk primarily through two measures: strict discipline and the use of protective equipment. Non-compliance with electrical safety regulations results in the termination of the employment contract. 2. Protection Against Infections We provide employees with protective gloves and antiseptic agents. Local managers are required to inspect technicians' hands and faces for scratches or cuts at least once a week. If any injuries are identified, a mandatory medical examination is required. 3. Safety When Lifting Heavy Objects Due to the nature of their work, employees are often required to lift and move heavy loads. Although we have equipped them with specialized tools (such as carts and lifting belts) and provided training on how to lift and move objects with minimal physical strain, it is not possible to completely eliminate the risk of injury. Therefore, we have mandated that all local subsidiaries provide supplementary accident insurance coverage for such incidents, and we strictly monitor compliance with this requirement.
